Secret Ingredient Chilli in a Rush
A family classic - for good reason. With all your ingredients to hand in the freezer / store cupboard you can always knock up a chilli for dinner. Or lunch.
SERVES: 4
DEFROSTING REQUIRED: No
TIME: Approx 30 mins
TEMPERATURE: Medium heat on hob
METHOD
1. Soften onion, garlic, and chilli in oil.
2. Add mince and fry off until brown. Add paprika and stock cube. Tip in chopped toms, plus drained kidney beans.
3. Grate a little dark chocolate straight into your chilli for sweetness and depth of flavour.
4. Simmer for 15 mins.
5. Add coriander 5 mins before end.
6. Cook rice in the microwave according to instructions. Serve with rice and salad and top chili with a dollop of sour cream and black pepper
INGREDIENTS
1. 1 x tbsp olive oil
2. Small handful Iceland frozen chopped onions
3. 1 tbsp Iceland frozen chopped garlic
4. 1 tbsp Iceland chopped chili
5. 1 tbsp paprika
6. Whole packet of Iceland beef mince
7. 1 Oxo cube
8. 1 x tin of chopped tomatoes
9. 1 x tin of kidney beans
10. Roughly 1 tbsp grated dark chocolate
11. 1 tbsp of coriander
