This sizzling fried chicken burger recipe will spice things up this summer. Our simple method brings in toasted ciabatta rolls, lathered with sweet sticky barbecue sauce and mayonnaise. Filled with tempting southern fried chicken thigh burgers, smoked cheese, crispy bacon and luxury coleslaw, these burgers are simply smokin’.

Ingredients

  • 4 luxury ciabatta rolls
  • 4 southern fried chicken thigh burgers
  • 8 smoked cheese slices
  • 8 rashers of smoked back bacon
  • Iceland luxury coleslaw
  • Heinz barbecue sauce
  • Mayonnaise

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Cook the chicken thigh burgers according to back of pack instructions.
  3. Grill the 8 rashers of bacon.
  4. Heat a dry griddle pan and toast the rolls.

  • 100g Napolina tomato purée
  • 200g Iceland mozzarella
  • 80g deli speciale pepperoni slices

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Cook burgers according to back of pack instructions.
  3. Heat a dry griddle pan and toast the brioche buns.
  4. Spread 25g of tomato purée on the base of each bun.
  5. When the burgers are cooked add 50g of mozzarella and 20g of pepperoni to the top and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is nice and melted.
  6. Place the burger in the bun bases and top with the bun lid.
  7. Serve with French fries or an Italian pasta salad.
