The description says "Chip Shop". If your chippie sells smelly fish that is mushy in texture and batter that doesn't understand the word crisp then you will not be disappointed, otherwise avoid it like a Covid Cough.

These are surprisingly nice and succulent. Thick chunky pieces of fish, with a lovely coating holding it together.

Firstly This meal was part of my first ever order from Iceland. We have been very pleased with all items consumed so far. I interpreted the box as offering two pieces of battered cod and so was interested in the ‘216 Cals per serving’ but assumed this was because it was To be oven-baked. On opening there were four neat portions and I knew one would not be enough for my husband. So I cooked all 4! We enjoyed our meal with home made oven chips peas and tartare sauce. We thought the battered fish better than we have had from local f snd c shop recently the cod was white and chunky and the batter crisp and delicious. I would order again but I would keep to one portion to keep calories low!

If a chip shop gave me a piece of fish like this, I would go back and throw a brick through their window. It’s basically a lump of very greasy batter with a sliver of fish in the middle. Very little actual fish meat. If I could afford to, I would throw the rest in the bin, but times are tough. Shame on all those involved in bringing this to market. Haven’t tried the Haddock version.

My little girl loves this one. Every Saturday, she would have one of this yummy chip shop and some chips (as a day where every food is allowed)

Hi I noticed when cooking at the recommended 200C fan, the food tasted bitter ( could be my electric oven thermostat ). I solved this by cooking at 160C fan for 25 mins. Try it if you have this problem.
