What a surprise! I was expecting the usual carton milk, with a horrible aftertaste. This is REALLY fresh and clean tasting. Great on cereal and quite acceptable in a cup of tea. I will certainly be buying this again.

OK strictly speaking , not a review, I've already sung the praises of Viva skimmed milk although I will say once again of all the UHT milk I' tried this is the best! Hope this is of some help with those struggling with the opening of the carton. I simply flick up the edge opposite the plastic opening and snip it off with my kitchen scissors. I started this at work when I didn't fancy the look of the milk lying round the opening , although it wasn't Viva milk it had the same type of opener, rest of the staff thought it was so much easier and followed suit

Open the carton, pour into a 2 pint plastic bottle and no problem! Common sense really!

The only milk I have been drinking for over half a decade now. only downside I found is the lack of a screw top as the 'rip-open' spouts can sometimes fail and cause a mess in pouring. in my tea, coffee or cereal this milk lasts just fine.
Submitted by Margo on 20/5/2018
The milk is fine if you can pour it without it spilling everywhere. The spout is useless and really does need to be changed as its really not fit for purpose.

The milk is fine same as any other brand. The opening though is dreadful. The milk spills everywhere its really a useless design. Rating would be 5 except forthe opening

I normally have fresh skimmed milk in cereal and tea. I honestly cannot tell the difference between this UHT one and the fresh stuff. It's cheaper and lasts for longer both unopened in the cupboard and open in the fridge.

I keep this in the fridge in case I run out of my fresh milk and use it for my rice pudding. Great.
