How to cook

Defrost

In a refrigerator

Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours.

Once defrosted keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours.


Grill Defrost

Grill Cook time: 14 min. - 16 min.

Pre-heat grill to a medium heat.

Remove from packaging.

Place onto the wire rack of a grill pan.

Grill for 14-16 minutes.

Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.


Grill Frozen

Grill Cook time: 22 min. - 25 min.

Pre-heat grill to a medium heat.

This lamb is not what it seems. It's very tough and very fatty after cooking

This looked like a pack of two but there was actually 3 and a half cut ridiculously thin. When cooked it was just what I imagine eating old leather would be like. Far from satisfactory Iceland and not up your usual standard. If I could put zero for the rating I would.

Great value, great taste, I pop them in casserole dish covered in foil for about an hr then de-bone chops pour away excess juice, then make up gravy with Bisto granules pour over chops and leave in oven for a few hrs. They taste great and juices flavour the gravy.

So lovely and tender, we have it mostly as a midweek meal, husband likes it too. Don't know why it has 3 stars so far, they`re well better than that.

I was not impressed by these. I bought for a meal for two people and cooked as instructed. They were tough and ruined a good meal. Maybe these would be fine for a stew as they could be slowed cooked but they did not turn out well being cooked as per instructions. I also agree with a previous reviewer that these are more slices than steaks. I would not buy again as they are not worth the price.

Lovely on the bone steaks. Great in a stew or curry fried an diced up. Really handy and easy to fry up great once seasoned. Part of my weekly shop. A+

Isn't worth the price.

These NZ free range lamb leg steaks ARE tasty. However they are slices NOT steaks. The bone-in isn't a problem, but for these 'steaks' it's not just the round bone slice, but also the tiny bits of bone. I wouldn't give them to small children. If you put the larger bones plus chunks of lamb in a stew they would be tasty and cook quickly. Or, if you're doing a mixed grill and don't mind dealing with bones, they would be fine for that too. But they aren't leg steaks, just slices of lamb leg.
