How to cook

Oven Frozen

Pre-heat oven: Fan 180ºC / Gas 6. For conventional electric ovens adjust time and temperature to suit.

Remove outer packaging.

Place into a baking tray and cover loosely with foil.

Cook near the middle of the oven for 2 hours 25-30 minutes.1 hour into cooking time, remove foil, return to oven for 1 hour and 25-30 minutes.

Stand for 10 minutes before carving.


Defrost

Defrost in a refrigerator overnight.

Drain before cooking.

Pre-heat oven: Fan 180ºC / Gas 6. For conventional electric ovens adjust time and temperature to suit.

Stand for 10 minutes before carving.

Wonderful. When you roast it just make sure you cook it on at least 220C for the first 20 mins the reduce to 180 for 1hr

I would highly recommend this product . Easily will feed 4 crackling very crispy and pork very tender well worth the price . Have had about 7 now and everyone top value .

Despite the negative reviews I bought it anyway. It was delicious. Moist, tender with real crackling and enough left over for a salad the next day. Will always keep one in freezer.

Loved this product - white, tender meat and good crackling. But, last two purchases were horrible. Dark, tough meat and rind was rubbish. Looked like cut from shoulder as funny seam running through. Got a refund the second time.

Had this on Easter Monday, absolutely delicious! Moist and tender with lovely crackling for those who like it. I wish I’d bought a second one and put it in the freezer!

I purchased this joint on a whim, pre Christmas, and cooked it at Easter, being on my own i essentially wanted to get rid of it. I cooked it a cast iron casserole dish, following this instructions kept the lid on for the first hour, then removed the lid, cooked it for 1 hour 5 minutes afterward, whilst resting to crisp the crackling further i left it in the oven. For 10 minute, the whole thing was absolutely delicious.

Had one of these joints for a Sunday roast today and all I can say it was the nicest piece of pork we have ever had from anywhere. It was just delicious 😋 and just melted in our mouths. Such good value for money and congratulations to iceland for sourcing such lovely meat.

This pork joint was extremely good. Sunday lunch ,today pork and pickles and still some left for another meal. Good value for the money plus cracking crackling. 100%
