Agree with the 1 star reviews. I was really looking forward to a syn free meal eating a dirty burger which wasn't really dirty ha! But it just wasn't right. The sweet potato makes it sweet which is not really what you expect from a burger and the process of freezing a sweet potato based food item, makes it mushy even when cooked in a fan oven. I use the mesh so I can have even cooking on both sides, but the base the stuck really badly to the mesh. It was a waste of a meal.

Considering this is ‘free’ on slimming world, I think it’s lovely! Especially with your healthy extra A of cheese melted on top. Really tasty, can definitely taste the ‘smoky’ flavour. I would definitely recommend!

Really didn't like these at all they don't taste at all smoked they taste burnt. Like charcoal burnt. They were inedible even the dog didn't want to eat it and he never says no.. Lol

left a horrible bitter after taste and when cooked just turned to mush, not nice.

Tasty but a bit tempremental to cook and still hold together. Needs to remain in oven until top crispy.

Very tasty, not spicy very nice.

Firstly, they taste vile. I fail to imagine how slimming world taste testers ate this stuff and thought ''oh that's lovely, let's get this on the shelves'' Honestly, it's impossible. They have either had their taste buds burned off, OR they were paid extra to say this filth was good. Failing that, they just thought it would be a good joke? Secondly, unless you cook these in the oven on a tray then what you take out of the pan will resemble a scene out of Dexter. Yes, once Dexter has dismembered a body, bagged it up and hidden it...this is what some poor unsuspecting dog walkers will find months later. Actually, if you cook them in the oven they don't look that much better. Buy at your peril. You've been warned.

Ok but fell apart a bit, you may need a spray of oil before cooking as they stick

I love these nice and tasty and free food if following slimming world

Bad

Didn’t personally like the taste . Consistency very mushy

Tasted nice but they are terrible to cook, cooked them on the setting stated and cooking time but just turned to mush and stuck to cooking tray :(

Very mushy, put them back in the oven hoping they would crisp up but sadly they didn’t. Could possibly tolerate if I put some kind of sauce on them

Excellent

Perhaps the most revolting ready-made food I have ever tried. As noted by a previous reviewer, the over-riding taste was of ash. That said, it did spur me to visit the SW website where I found a much more palatable bean-burger recipe.

They fell apart getting them off a tray, some parts of burger mushy, some beans very firm which I know you can get from these types of beans. Very spicy, made my mouth burn and me sweat! Won't be buying these again, shame cos they were going to be my go to meal in a hurry when I didn't want to cook.

They taste nice, my only negative is that they are too mushy but I suppose that's to be expected if they are not meat

Found this to have a very weird flavour and taste. I have one meat free day a week on a Monday but I still want something nice so I bought these to try. They were very dry and I didn't finish mine, had to add sauce which wasn't syn free!! Hubby left his after two mouthful's. Sorry but I can't recommend!

Like something out of an ashtray, do not buy!

These sound amazing and I’ve long been a fan of spicy vegetarian burgers. However these are really dry. I know SW can’t have a crumb on, but the texture of these are just wrong. The fish cakes in the range aren’t in a crumb, but they are delicious. I think this one is one to improve please Iceland.
