Allow 60g of rice per person 1. Place the rice in a sieve and rinse under cold running water. 2. Put in a large pan of boiling water. Add salt as desired. 3. Stir once, cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes. 4. Drain well, fluff through the grains with a fork and serve.

I cook this rice in my microwave rice cooker and it turns into perfect fluffy rice. The people saying it is like rice pudding clearly don't know how to cook rice.

Horrible taste and consistency when cooked like rice pudding. Sludge! Waste of money, doesn't look like rice, no seperation of the grains! Instead of adding salt perhaps milk and sugar to make dessert. Ruined many a good dinner with this rubbish. Thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt! Yuck!

Save yourself the time, electric/gas and effort of making this rice. I usually use Tilda long grain but was in a rush. Two pots later and still no luck and ruined pots!

Very good rice, long gain rice can be very hard and dry when cooked but this’s never happened to me always cooked perfect every times

Excellent variety of rice and easy for coeliacs to digest. Brilliant price. To be successful this rice MUST be soaked for 20 minutes before cooking, after the initial rinse. Feel free to give it a couple more running water rinses if you feel like it. Measure out yr precise ratios of water to rice, cook on medium for the 10 minutes and stir/ taste a few kernels to check for doneness. (Too much water/ too long a cooking period and you have a condensed brick of unpalatable sludge.) My prefered method is to slowly add the prepared grains of rice to boiling water. That said, if I am tired/ starving I have thrown the rice into cold water and brought it to the boil. But you do need to keep an eye on it if you do this! Absorbs flavourings nicely suitable for sweet and savoury recipes. Granted, not as fantastic as the old Thai or Jasmine rice Iceland used to sell. But still 5 star.

Sorry to say but this rice is not good it like rice pudding once cooked and I've been cooking different types of rice for years

Rice turned out like rice pudding, would not recommend.
