How to cook
Boil From Chilled
Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat. Remove all packaging. Place ribs in a saucepan and cover with fresh cold water. Bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer gently for 30 minutes. Carefully pour off the water and cover ribs with fresh cold water, return to the heat and bring back to the boil. When boiling reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes per kg (20 minutes per lb). When cooked carefully remove the ribs from the water and allow the ribs to stand for 5 minutes before carving. Ensure the ribs are thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Not suitable for microwave cooking.
