It's cheaper that the original Nescafé coffee you normally get in the U.K. But does not have the same taste. Because it is a cheap import from Brazil. In future I will getting the Original U.K. version, because it is far superior in taste.

Do not be fooled by cheap price, it is a grey import sub standard product; you know when you open a new jar the smell is fantastic? This one has no smell at all and no taste. Iceland collected and refunded no problem, which is to their credit.

As a lifetime drinker of Nescafe, I was shocked at how bitter and unpleasant this product was. It may just have been a bad batch, but as I had never purchased this product from Iceland before, it may be something to do with the fact they are buying in from a foreign country - the label was all in a foreign language with a sticker with UK translation over the top. As a black coffee drinker, I found this wholly unpalatable, and when I offered it to my family in their preferred form (with milk and sugar), without giving them my opinion, they also asked what the heck had I done to the coffee because it was so unpleasant and bitter. Tolerable in a full-milk coffee.

I strongly disagree with previous comments. I have been drinking Nescafe Original my entire life, in different countries, including western and eastern Europe and North America. this coffee everywhere is basically the same. I am very fussy with coffee and I even dislike other Nescafes. I like only Nescafe Original and I can assure you, that this is completely normal Nescafe Original and tastes the same as other Nescafe Original coffees I had. If you don't like it, then you just don't like it, but it is a lie saying it tastes different.

Very bitter, doesn't taste right at all. Avoid and go for Kenco.

This coffee is not destined for the UK market, it is a grey import and is for Europe where the flavours are different. this is not the UK version of the Nescafe that you know it is cheaply imported from the continent - warning if you have allergies do not assume this is the same.

I agree with Pat's comment. This is not like the Nescafe I'm used to. It tastes like a very poor cheap brand. Avoid this like the plague.

It's now been changed and is the same as Tesco 50p jar coffee, horrid. does not resemble coffee in anyway what so ever. avoid.

In my opinion the best instant coffee on the market.
