The name Kumala comes from a combination of local tribal dialects and means 'to do things differently.' Kumala keeps on going from strength to strength and is arguably producing the best wine it has ever made under the confident leadership of Bruce Jack. The reason for this is the close relationship between the grape growers and our top winemakers. South Africa's wine producing area has 5 distinct regions, divided into 14 distinct districts. At Kumala, grapes are sourced from a number of these regions so that only the best quality is chosen. The grapes for Kumala Cape White were fermented in open stainless steel tanks for 2 weeks without any oak use. This helps to keep the wine really fresh and fruity. Recently awarded the title of Wine Personality of the Year at the Financial Mail Wine Business Awards, Bruce Jack is one of South Africa's biggest movers and shakers making distinctive, stylish wines.. Wine of South Africa. Fresh and lightly floral on the nose with hints of apple, white pear, pineapple and tropical fruit. Kumala.

Generally find South African wines to be good and this was no exception.

Delivery very quick and at the expected time

This is a nice fruity wine and at a very reasonable cost.

Love this wine and it was free with 2 pizzas What a bargain

Good for me the favourite wine

This is a lovely wine and it is reasonably priced

Lovely wine, great for the price price.

Lovely wine bought this before.

Pleasant enough, wouldn’t buy it again though.

This was on offer with 2 pizzas, couldn't resist, wish it was still on offer. Always prefer south african wine, prticularly whites and rose, red wines have too many sulphites, not goood when you have COPD., lovely subtle taste, without harshness, easy drinking

Lovely flavour , clean and crisp
