How to cook

Hob Frozen

Based on 1/4 bag

Place required amount into a pan and cover with boiling water.

Bring back to the boil and simmer for 5-6 minutes until tender.

Drain well and serve.


Microwave Frozen

Based on 1/4 bag

Remove required amount from packaging.

Place into a microwaveable dish.

Cover with film and pierce several times.

Cook for 5 minutes.

Stand for 1 minute before serving.

If using chilled, once cooked allow to cool, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours.

Price wise these work out cheaper than tinned beans (when you factor in the liquid you need to drain away) and they don't turn to mush in your recipes. There's a nice colourful mix of beans which make brilliant recipes, fabulous for mixed bean chilli, bean salad, soups and all manner of winter warmer recipes. Very tasty and great to have to-hand in the freezer. Did you know how nutritious beans are?! Great way to cut back on your meat consumption and help save the planet!
