This is barely 1/4 duck, certainly not a half duck at all! No legs or wings, just a fatty thing in the pouch 1cm thick!!! What sort of duck is that thin? There are only 10 pancakes provided, whereas all other brands include at least 12. The lack of pancakes and hoisin reflects the small amount of meat you'll get off it. The meat was cooked exactly as described, yet very chewy. In future I will spend £1-2 more to get more meat, more sauce and pancakes and much nicer.

Can't understand the negative comments I've had this a few times and it's delicious!! You must cook it properly though top shelf in a HOT oven till it's brown and crispy. Cooking instructions on the box are just a guideline I always cook mine longer than it says.

Mixed reviews for this, I can say is how you cook it micro oven a no no, oven cook the best for crispy skin, me and my girlfriend love this, will buy again.

This is the WORST, most tasteless, fatty, God awful duck we have ever had, ever. The duck was dry and fatty, how the hell do they do that? The hoisin sauce tasted like neat sugar and the pancakes were as dry as dust. The duck was so bad that even our pets (who eat ANYTHING & EVERYTHING) would not even go near it. We threw the remaining duck (almost all of it) out for the foxes. Next morning it was still there!!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Disgusting . Shocked of how many additives in this and vacuum packed. This is not for human consumption in any mean. I would avoid eating this. Its a no no from me.

Duck is OK, but not a touch on local takeaways, something quite different in flavour.

This was lovely. I cooked at a slightly lower heat but for a little longer. We also had some some spring onion(not included), gorgeous with the pancake rolls and sauce(included).

Save yourself a fortune from the local Chinese take away. Crispy duck skin followed by tender meat. Can only expect a duck to be slightly fatty but my plates empty so it must of been enjoyable. Very well recommended. Could do with a larger sauce pack but not a great deal more to cover the amount of meat. Delicious

Really bad, the worst thing I have ever bought!

Had this on quite a few occasions now and have only been disappointed once. The duck is moist and tender with a nice flavor. Pancakes are just right, would like a little more hoisin sauce.

Very very good, pancakes great, duck superb. Excellent value for money. Our dog loved it too. Cook as per instructions and it will be great. Would recommend.

This was awful! Full of fat, hardly any duck to make a pancake! Would not even feed to my dog. Waste of money!

Fast and easy, it is small so we have one each. Also it can be oven, grilled or boiled in the bag.

Absolutely disgusting, I had 2 bites and gave it to the dog and even she walked away. Just tastes like grease and smells vile.

I know duck normally has fat, but the one I brought seemed to have far more then usual. Also tasted greasy, fatty and just nasty. The only nice thing was the hoisin sauce! Duck didn't pull away really had to fight it, even the cat wouldn't eat it!

Do not buy this item, I had to throw it away. What you actually get from the Hungarian Duck is the skin & 1cm of pure Duck fat, not enough meat to make even 1 pancake. Steer well clear.

For the price it was good. Would buy again.

If you coat the duck with half of Hoi Sin sauce then pop it in the oven - WOW! It’s amazing

So easy, cooked really well in the oven and crisped up perfectly, lots of pancakes and enough hoi sin too. Great that it's already deboned - much easier to carve!

Nicest home cooked duck I've had in a long time
