How to cook

Defrost

In a refrigerator

Defrost in a refrigerator for 40 hours.

Drain before cooking.

Once defrosted, cook within 24 hours.


Oven Defrost

Fan 170ºC Cook time: 1 hr. 45 min.

Gas 5 Cook time: 1 hr. 45 min.

Pre-heat oven.

Remove from all packaging.

Place in a roasting tin.

Cover loosely with foil.

1 hour 15 minutes into cooking time, remove foil, return to oven 30 minutes.

Stand for 10 minutes before carving.

Gas 5 Cook time: 2 hr. 40 min.

Pre-heat oven.

This made my Xmas dinner. Just followed the instructions and it was cooked perfectly. Juicy, juicy, juicy.

Really Nice and Juicy - I actually thought it could do with a bit more salt unlike one of the other reviewers - will be getting one for Christmas day!

Best turkey we have had,cooked perfectly,very moist.Grandchildren not keen on turkey as the say it is too dry,they tried thia and loved it.A hit with everyone,this will be 3rd year,excellent value

Worst turkey I have ever not eaten. It has that much salt it actually burned my tongue. Pure horror, spoilt a Sunday family lunch. What did Iceland do? Gave money back! I still have samples frozen for the Food Standards Agency.

Easy to cook - even if it slightly different to previous years. Always good value and plenty of meat. Meat is tasty and not dry I always keep one in the freezer during the year ready for 'big get togethers'

Best turkey we've ever got from Iceland. Doesn't have the weird stuff (starches, salts, etc) they normally add. Will be buying again
