I have been buying this product regularly for quite a while now and cook it exactly as stated and it is always lovely! Very tender and tasty! Very handy to be able to cook from frozen.

I didn't cook according to instruction on packet, I felt it wasn't long enough. I cooked it slow for 3 hours and it was tender and tasty

we found this product a waste of money. it was full of fat, gristle plus tubes (veins). it was not up to Iceland's standards of meat products which we purchase on a regular basis. will not be trying this product again!!!!

Absolute waste of money! £6 and barely enough meat for 1 person, even though the pack says feeds 2-3!

Ive had quite a few of these over the years. True, as some reviewers have said, this can be tough if too high a heat or not cooked long enough. Ive now got the hang of it though and I cook Gas 6 in foil for 1hour 10mins, then another 25mins on Gas 4. Perfect every time now. Meat falls apart and very flavoursome.

Tough and took ages to cook. I will never buy again. says 1 hour and five minutes, actually took 1 hour and 35 minutes and still tough. End up throwing away. Avoid at all cost

After reading all the negative views I nearly didn’t buy it but there was a really nice review, yes the time of cooking was a bit weird so I put oven on 170 and cooked for 1 hr 25 mins my husband loved it. He’s having some more tmoro, I don’t like lamb only the ones that are meant to be running in fields I only eat chicken ha ha ha Becky

Tough needed more cooking wouldn't feed 3. Will not buy again **

cookef for given time, then cooked it some more still ******. Tried carving it ,would have been better off using a chainsaw so tough. Gave up didnt fancy a dose of food poisoning. Never buying anything like this from iceland again. Total waste of £6.

I have tried this a while ago and thought it wasn't too bad, but I don't know if the recipe has changed, but though the meat wasn't too bad itself though very small, the gravy was disgusting and I've had a strange taste in my mouth for the rest of the day. For an extra £1 you'd be much better off buying the half leg of lamb and making your own gravy. You'd also get much more meat as this was very small. Overall, pretty disappointed and I'm afraid won't be buying in future.

I have had this in the oven, so far, for 1hr 35mins. It is still almost raw inside! I have followed the cooking instructions to the letter, even turned the heat up ... I'll let you know more when it's finally cooked!!!

full of fat and not tender

This was fine, nice and tender and full of flavour. Those moaning about mint should perhaps learn to read.

Terrible, tough as leather, very small, tasted nothing like lamb. Swimming in a greasy liquid which I assume was meant to be gravy but full of mint sauce... I think! Never again!

Why do food companies always drown the lamb in mint sauce. The mint sauce should be in a sachet to give us the choice of how much or if at all.

Only just 2 portions , tasted ok but not good value. Very disappointing

Earlier reviews had me concerned but thought I'd try this anyway - even though my partner hates mint! The lamb was gorgeous; flavoursome and so tender but it was tiny in size. Not sure that I could justify the cost again. Don't know why people complained of the mint flavour when it's clearly advertised on the box! We added the sauce to our gravy. It was really nice.

Meat was nice, but as I don't like mint on my lamb it was a bit of a let down for me. Get rid of the sauce and I'll definitely buy again.

This is horrible, and I hate mint. Should had the choice of this gravy in a little bag so you can add it yourself. Never buying this again.

Nice and tender, full of flavour. Gravy is lovely. Will be buying this again and again!
