Hey, I find the Purple Chips have a taste. Some frozen potato chips are tasteless. I bought a few packets. Don't give up on them.

I never had these before and due to the colour I thought oooh that looks strange and intriguing! Opened up the bag and there wasn't much colour to it. Nearly all white, maybe the tiniest hint of purple. As another comment has said, it tasted very earthy, like it was just pulled out of mud and chucked in a bag. Not nice.

Iceland are you kidding? Have you had your food team test these? They are horrendous. The potato type must be porous like a sponge, as their was no evidence of a slight bit of oil like any oven chips. Dry as a bone, so added some oil half way through cooking and still dry like splintered wood chips. Not fit to eat but fit for the bin.

I bought these as I've never had them before, and being purple I thought ooh that's a bit different! Opened the bag and cooked them. Not so purple, just white like any other chip and tasted very earthy as someone else has mentioned on a review! Not a bad thing, as I will happily eat them, but I think for the money it's not worth it. I was expecting dark purple fries, with a nice crunch! 1/5

Really purple and very tasty! Mmmmm

I was very intrigued to see what these would be like and unfortunately I was disappointed. Not so much purple but purple and white, took longer to cook and did not crisp. Flavour was not nice, very earthy which I did not find pleasant. I will not buy again!

I don't think they look very nice....but they taste great...love them interesting comment from the lady who says the taste more like potatoes than chips....that could be because they ARE potatoes.

These where really nice & tasty but not very purple more white with a hint of purple hue but maybe next bag will be all purple, lovely wee change, non greasy & a great chip for dipping. I will most definitely have these before French fries from now on.

These chips retain the blue colour when cooked and produce tasty, crisp chips with good texture. Will buy again.

Thought these would be a nice change. I was wrong. They don't even looked cooked when they're done, they don't go crispy and are either squishy or hard, and they taste of potato rather than chips. Put it this way, I made some for my boyfriend and I. We didn't dish up all that we'd cooked, then we didn't eat all that we'd dished up, then I threw the rest of the bag away.
