How to cook

Oven Chilled

Fan 170°C Gas 5

Pre-heat oven Fan 170°C/Gas 5.

Remove from all packaging.

Place in a roasting tin with raised edges near the middle of the oven.

Medium: Cook for 20 minutes per 500g plus 20 minutes.

Well done: Cook for 25 minutes per 500g plus 25 minutes.

Stand for 10-15 minutes before carving.

Remove the netting before carving.


Pan Fry & Oven Chilled

Cook time: - 4 hr. 30 min.

SLOW COOK.

Pre-heat oven Fan 120°C/Gas 1.

Measure out 1 Litre of boiled water (Optional add two beef stock cubes/pots).

Remove from all packaging.

Sear the joint on all sides in a frying pan with a little oil, over a high heat.

Place the joint into a deep lidded casserole dish.

Add the water or beef stock to the dish, topping up with more water if the joint is not 3/4 covered.

Cook near the middle of the oven for 4 hours 30 minutes.

Turn halfway through cooking time.

Remove the joint from the braising juices and allow to rest for 5 mins.

Carefully remove the netting and carve/shred the joint to serve.

Beef was tasty and tender, well worth the money, would certainly buy again

Melted in your mouth - would recommend - lovely would buy again. Cut the joint into 2 and had 2 meals - good value and a great taste
