How to cook
Defrost
in a refrigerator
Cook time:
- 48 hr.
Remove carton and foil tray, leave in paper wrap, place on a tray with raised edges.
Defrost in a refrigerator for 48 hours.
Drain before cooking.
Once defrosted keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours.
Oven Defrost
Fan 160°C
Cook time:
- 2 hr. 15 min.
Gas 4
Pre-heat oven Fan 160°C/Gas 4.
Place in a roasting tin near the middle of the oven for 2 hours 15 minutes.
Stand for 10 minutes, remove string before carving.
For crispier bacon, open paper wrap after cooking time and return to oven for a further 5 minutes.
Oven Frozen
Fan 160°C
Cook time:
- 3 hr. 30 min.
Gas 4
Pre-heat oven Fan 160°C/Gas 4.

This is preformed so impossible to carve purchased 4 for a old folks Xmas lunch so it will be difficult to plate up as their are no proper slices , they should say on the info that it’s not a whole turkey crown I will not trust GHK reviews again

I actually bought this as Plan B for Christmas just in case we couldn't manage to get a fresh whole Turkey delivered to us whilst we were/are continuing to shield. It was such a huge relief to know that we had it in the Freezer as it did indeed end up becoming our Christmas Day dinner and, ohhh, what a wonderful dinner it was as we all absolutely loved it! So moist, so tender, and so tasty - it most definitely lived up to all of the excellent Reviews on here and it can even be cooked from frozen too! - fantastic!!! I immediately bought another one after Christmas just in case Iceland don't stock and sell these amazing Turkey Joints at Easter time :o)

Best turkey ever from Iceland. So easy to cook from frozen. Very moist and soft meat. The fact it comes ready wrapped keeps in juices and gives lots to make tasty gravy with. Fed 3 of us for three days. Couldn’t stop picking at bits that fell off.
