Shame it was not a Chicken Wellington as meat too tough but lovely pastry

Not nice at all for the price! The pastry was soggy & the beef tough as old boots! Not happy at all for something that ended up in the food waste bin! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

The beef was not tender as stated on the box, it was chewy, the pastry had a soggy bottom. The duxelle was the best bit, what a waste of £8.

Expensive for what it is. Chewy beef in soggy pastry. The flavour and was nice and so was the filling. But I definitely won't be buying again.

Unpleasant. The beef was chewy. I gave it to my dog, who ate it greedily. The pastry took a long time to cook. There were also gaps in the pastry 'envelope' so that the insides were overlooked. The duxelles were ok. I won't buy it again and wouldn't recommend it. There is nothing luxurious.

Poor, beef was chewy and pastry soggy when cooked at temperature. Disappointing given the previous reviews of 5 star. Quality and quantity not as expected!

Being beef you have to cook it right, over cook it and you might as well be eating shoe leather, but this was tender and I've got teeth missing so if I could chew it then anyone can. The topping was very gorgeous, would have loved more but I think I was just being greedy and quite a big chunk of beef for the £4 each price tag. So I thought for a treat well worth the money - as we don't have beef very often due to the price of it.

The meat was so chewy and tough that it was difficult to cut through it.

Really is luxury. Saturday night meal in. So much better than M&S and Tesco.

Surprised at the quality and the fact you can cook from frozen yet the beef still tastes succulent
