How to cook

Oven Frozen

Fan 180°C Cook time: - 1 hr. 5 min.

Gas 6

Remove outer packaging and film lid.

Cover loosely with foil.

Place on a baking tray near the middle of the oven for 1 hour 5 minutes.

Remove foil for the last 5 minutes of cooking time.

Stand for 10 minutes before carving.

Package says to Cook at 180 for 1 hour covered loosely with foil and 5 mins uncovered. Try 2 hours at 200 and it still bleeds

I bought this joint because I've never had a bad experience with Iceland meat before & was hoping to treat my poorly mum to a nice lamb Sunday lunch & was expecting good quality, but OMG! I was badly mistaken, iv never had anything so disgusting in all my life, it was so tough, fatty, full of gristle & arteries & it tasted horrid, on the plus side though, the cats enjoyed it :)

Delicious meal very tasty and easy to cook. Good value for money. Ideal for pensioners Sunday dinner.

Good product to have as a spare/emergency joint. The sauce is eye-wateringly minty! However, this was our second time of trying this joint. We followed the cooking instructions as written. Visually it was not very enticing - it looked very lumpy/fatty. However, it was not like that at all - it was deliciously cooked and very tender. Just enough for cold supper next day with jacket potatoes and salads. Need to have another one in the freezer just in case!!

I cooked this small joint of Lamb to the recommended oven settings and time 180 degree from frozen Fan oven for 1 hour 5 mins The meat was raw, I cooked it for a further 30 mins,but still raw, I have now put it into the bin as it looked and tasted dreadful I will not be buying iceland joints again.

I have tried this twice. First time cooked defrosted but it just fell to pieces, this time cooked from frozen and followed instructions, but after the suggested time the meat was still raw so have had to put it back in oven, will not buy it again, rather buy a lambs leg with bone, more reliable...

Lamb was the size of a chicken breast. cooked for time stated on box and was so tuff and fatty and full of gristle very expensive piece of meat for what it was will not be buying again.

Went to pick up some lamb shanks, (which are fantastic), for lunch. Was told out of stock. Bought this item as an alternative. What a massive mistake. Cooked as directed and it turned out to be “as tough as old rope” and tasteless. Felt really let down. Never again..!
