How to cook

Oven Chilled

Fan 170°C Cook time: 1 hr. 15 min. - 1 hr. 25 min.

Gas 5

Remove from all packaging, including absorbent pad and plastic cap.

Place in a roasting tin near the middle of the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes-1 hour 25 minutes.

Stand for 10 minutes before carving.

For a medium cook, reduce time accordingly.

This lamb was so good I cooked it for my dad my brother and me we all enjoyed it getting another one this week

Cooked in oven slow but was tough and hardly any meat on it get the larger leg far more flavour and better value

I have had approximately 8 leg of lamb and have never any problem been very tender and tasty.

Put this in a slow cooker and the meat falls off the bone. Dont slow cook it in the oven invest in a slow cooker.

Waste of ten pound . Hardly no meat on it and the meat that was on it was crispy and hard and horrible

I cooked this in the electric slow cooker. It fell off the bone, was tender and full of flavour.

Slow cooked this for 6 hours, tough chewy and tastless

I cooked it EXACTLY as per the instructions, I very rarely complain about anything ever from supermarkets, but it was absolutely awful, impossible to get even a couple of nice slices from it. A huge bone, ok understood, but the meat was gristly and fatty and chewy and almost tasteless, I guess we had 10p's worth of eats from £10 purchase; beyond disappointing, never again!

Lovely & tender, carved easily.
