Absolutely disgusting. Don’t know where the mince was. It was just water potato in gravy. Wouldn’t feed it to dogs it was that bad.

Excellent

what a absolute disappointment. This was a tray of very watery goo with very very little mince inside. Please do not waste your money

This is a really good larger version of the £1 (500g) meal for one - why is the £1 version no longer available?

Oh dear!, I’m sorry to leave a bad review but I followed the instructions and was so looking forward to eating this but it was truly awful. Half an inch of mince stuck to the bottom of the foil dish and two inches of greyish tasteless goop on top, it was inedible and I threw it out. Iceland don’t usually get it so wrong, perhaps they could try tasting Aldi’s tasty family Cottage Pie and try and emulate it?

Disgusting. Just poor quality mince and smash. Not even the tiniest hint of flavour. Only person who should eat this is someone with no teeth, perfect texture for them 🤢 never shop in Iceland and I can’t say this has made me want to go back

Well I have to say that for a frozen ready meal we was impressed. Wasn't expecting much actually for this price and size but how wrong was we. Cooked beautifully and potato topping crisped up nice under the grill, I couldn't even attempt to make it for this price and the gravy was very tasty. We had this between the two of us with a side order of Vegetables and were stuffed now. Will definitely be getting this again for a quick mid-week, tasty meal

for the price , you cant go wrong. Its extremely tasty... For those that said it lacked taste, and the meat was like rubber, is pathetic... The portion was good for 2 adults … Will be buying again!!!

Terrible, instant wet mash on runny gravy, hardly any meat and tasteless.

First of all, all the cottage pies I have tried, from all different stores, including the old one Iceland used to have... have always tasted like they had way too much onion like the onion would disguise the lack of flavour with everything else. The mash was always too mushy. And the whole thing would just leave a horrible onion taste, and the mince was chewy. But now this one is the best cottage pie I have had ever. It smells home cooked and tastes home cooked. I have no horrible onion smell left in the kitchen nor does it taste like it or leave a horrible onion taste afterwards. This has to be the best cottage pie I have had ever. And even though cottage pie is meant to be without vegetables and Shepard’s pie is meant to have the vegetables. It was minimal and I was able to cope with that. Considering I have a food sensory issue with vegetables. So this is the best cottage pie ever in all the stores I’ve tried. Please continue to sell this and don’t change it!!
