Rubbish, Oven baked they just taste like cardboard at best. The vast majority of them arent really big enough to be called chips and they tend to just burn black in 10 minutes at 200c, never mind the recommended 20min.

Hi firstly each individual has their own tastes, so this it not a definitive review it's my opinion only. Being someone that has lived on chips for my main meals for over 25 years and for reasons unknown, born with a hatred for all meat/fish.eggs, as I used to say anything that lives to me is meat. I have spent over 25 years eating chips for practically all meals. No sauce, no extras, except salt n vinegar. I think this gives me a good background knowledge on chips as most will smother there chips with other things and not truly respect the taste of the chips themselves. For this review I will cover why I only gave them a two star for quality and 3 star for value. Firstly they are average 3star for value as the price is good. Secondly Which is why i wrote this in second as it may be lengthy. The crinkle chips appear part cooked like an oven chip which is always a bad sign for someone that fries their chips. This means to try and cook them to a crispy finish you must overcook them, as with other more expensive brands. It is always best to get frying chips and although these do state they can be fried, they do not cook correctly remaining soft and not crisping even when overcooked, it is hard to get a crisp chip from these. Contrary to other reviews, they are nothing like chip shop chips as they are a totally different subject to debate. I have a commercial fryer and a smaller home chip fryer and they came out the same in both. If you want to try to oven cook them I have a suspicion they might be better cooked that way. I am currently eating some right now that I have fried and they are brown and overcooked to try and get the crispness but alas still no luck they stay on the softer side and just get darker (which you may or may not like soft chips). I recommend the orange and black bag of chips from Iceland as they cook nice and are much better if you like your fried chips. I hope this helped someone in making a decision.

Lovely chips that crisp lovely on the outside and stay fluffy inside.

had these chips many times over the months. when grandkid's want feeding always cheap and cheerful. however today, the little 'uns refused to eat them and when I tasted they smelt and tasted really weird. needless to say they were thrown in the bin, the chips not the kids, on saying that they are cheap so maybe should not complain?

Have purchased these many times before and been happy with them but the last lot I got were awful. All different sizes, some really tiny slithers and cooking at different rates. Resulting in either burnt or under cooked mix of chips. Won't be buying them again.

We all love these chips, buy them every shop!!

We love these chips. Light and fluffy

I loved them excellent product

II PERSONALLY THINK THESE CHIPS ARE THE BEST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TOO CHUNKY AND VERY MUCH LIKE CHIPS YOU BUY AT A FISH SHOP. THE ONES I CAN HONESTLY SAY II DO NOT LIKE ARE THE FRENCH FRIES CRINKLE CUT WHICH I ONCE BROUGHT BY MSTAKE AND WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

They taste nice and very good value for your money.
