I remember trying this a few years ago and thought it was really nice. This time I don't know what you've done to it Iceland its absolutely vile, I couldn't eat it and it ended up in the bin. Full of gristle and dried clearly smash potato. Then I guess you get what you pay for

Why is this no longer on sale? It's the best cottage pie around!

Really tasty, and great value for £1. I buy this quite a lot.

Very tasty and generous amount.

I don't know what people expect for £1. There's nothing wrong with this great cottage pie.

Bland, cheap, bitty meat with smash potatoes. yuck.

Unedible

Should have read the packet closer. 19% meat! Far too much potato and dry. Nothing like picture. Not on my shopping list.

Watch out for the packaging with this - it's 'double sided' (landscape photo on one side, portrait on the other - presumably to allow it to be stacked either way). Normally not an issue, but this crazily doesn't come with film on top of the plastic tray, so when I defrosted it accidentally 'upside down' in the fridge, loads of the potato ended up on the cardboard packaging! The meal itself was OK - at this price, you probably can't complain.

If you want Meat, Gravy and Powdered Potatoes this is fine. I prefer a lot more Onions (I presume there was some) but also some Veg if only Peas? With 45 minute cook from frozen time I could make my own but add a lot more flavour, Herbs, Onions and Vegetables. I do not mind dried Potatoes I always keep some in the cupboard but I flavour by adding some Marge, Milk, Salt and Pepper. Mine was not as hot because I forgot to Pre-heat the Oven.
