Pears are for me always a complete and unmissable must of any fruit. Yes, they can be hard when first bought but they very soon ripen in a fruit bowl or more slowly in the fridge. You'll know you have to keep an eye on pears as they'll soften before we realise. I chop them up in my morning own made oaten and added bran half milk and water muesli breakfast with other chopped fruit whether fresh or of dried dates, prunes and apricots that prepared and folded into the breakfast bowl I then heat a bit after the oats, that in any case have swollen during preparation, to cook the oats a little and warm the bowl. Once out of the microwave that I use entirely in all my preferred quick cooking the warm muesli bowl is topped with Iceland's bio yoghurt. Gorgeous healthy tummy food!
