This is my go to for chicken portions. They are nice a big and they taste delicious. Would highly recommend.

I think it’s about time I start spending a bit more money on organic meat rather than Iceland. It’s not good chicken at all, it’s too big to be normal chicken, I will be switching my food shops to another store!

Tough chewy chicken breast. Also slimy to touch. And not of British origin. I won’t recommend it at all

So bad! So much chewy fat on these and the amount of bone i had to remove from each breast! I get that some bones may still be there but this was ridiculous! Ended up throwing most of the chicken away! Will not be buying again

During lockdown I regularly bought these. Good price, good product. Sorry reviewers, if you say they are tough that’s a reflection of your cooking skills, not the product. Rule number one, don’t overcook.

Good price, lovely potion, Love these I buy these every week

I have bought these a few times, the last purchase being this week. The chicken breasts are large and of good quality, we prefer them to those of the other major supermarkets. I have read previous reviews questioning the product's freshness but we have had no problems. We poach them, two or three at a time, for about 45 minutes in water to a couple of inches above the level of the chicken, adding a couple of bayleaves, a dozen peppercorns and lots of celery offcuts - we leave the chicken to cool in the broth then use it for sandwiches/paninis, we drain the broth then reheat it to have as a drink reminiscent of our childhoods - delicious!

If I had to some these up I’d say they were inedible, extremely chewy and tough, none of the family could even cut through it. I’ve cooked numerous family meals using different sauces we all like but each time they've ended up in the bin. They need to change supplier, preferably try using british chicken rather than imported would be a good start.

I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about, maybe it's not the best chicken I've ever tasted but for the price it's good. It's great to buy an separate out an chuck in the freezer an take out what you want when you need it. I personally haven't had any that tastes or smells funny so far but if I do, I'll be sure to edit my review.

Funny smell when opened, even though they were in date and stored correctly.
