Like other customers I've used this veg mix to make soup. I steamed the veg first so they were soft and then put them in my slow cooker with steamed potatoes, creamed coconut, cajun spice and tomato puree ( with hot water added and well stirred). I blended the veg after a few hours and the resulting soup was delicious! I have also steamed some of the carrots taken out of the bag for beans and rice, so the mix is very versatile- they are cut so chunky that you can take what you want out each time. This is the best casserole mix I've bought anywhere- for flavour, nice big veg slices and price. Definitely one I will be buying regularly from now on.

Really and surprisingly nice. Made a lovely stew with this. It's got those little silverskin onions in it. Would buy again and again.

These are really a hidden gem in Iceland, good value and very versatile. Brilliant for making soup, adding to stews and as a roasting base for a joint of meat. The little pearl onions are lovely, I wish Iceland would sell them as a separate line!

Absolutely love this when doing stew add to pot and cook .

I usually buy the fresh stew packs but saw these and thought I'd give them a try. I am converted, they are brilliant, I now always keep a bag or 2 in the freezer. Perfect for a Casserole or stew. I put mine in the slow cooker. I also, as another reviewer mentioned, made a soup with them, was delicious. My best find at Iceland.

I knocked up a quick minced beef casserole. Added a tin of 'Boys (Processed) Peas.' Served with mashed potatoes. Delicious. The baby onions are sweet, so unusual! Well done. I put the rest in a foil dish for freezing. See piccy.

Absolutely LOVE these! They are such good quality and the baby onions are gorgeous. We make one big casserole or soup every week and even roasted on a Sunday. So versatile, healthy and affordable for many families to eat well. Thank you Iceland! Please keep the supply of these going.

Absolutely fantastic for making a pot of soup, best frozen veg I’ve ever had.

This may be the most under-rated product at Iceland! When you're cooking a roast, pop these around it or in the base of the roasting dish. They caramelise and taste absolutely amazing, and for £1!

Buy this every single week
