How to cook

Steam Frozen

boiling Cook time: - 6 min.

Place required amount into steamer basket over boiling water.

Bring back to the boil and steam for 6 minutes until tender.

Remove from steam basket and serve.


Microwave Frozen

Based on 1/4 of a bag

Remove required amount from packaging.

Place into a microwaveable dish with 30ml of water.

Cover with film and pierce several times.

Cook for 3 minutes.

Stir, replace film and cook for a further 3 minutes.

If using chilled, once cooked allow to cool, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours.

Carrot, Swede, Turnip, Leek, Onion.

DO NOT EAT RAW.

A mix of straight cut carrot slices, diced swede, diced turnip, cut leeks and whole onions.

Hated this. Onions were small round whole onions, which came out slimey and hard, carrots were woody, whole thing was thoroughly unappetising and most of it went on the compost heap.

I truly love a soup cooked from these veggies! Can add some cauliflower, rice and casserole veggies used for a soup base. Really good and useful product!

This is a brilliant mix for winter stews and casseroles. Nice sized rounds of carrot, leeks and onions finely chopped, tasty turnip bits and neatly diced swede. Never any waste, just use what's required and keep the rest handy in the freezer.

These are great for using in a slow cooker. Chop some salad potatoes add meat and stock
