How to cook

Pan Fry Chilled

Cook time: 4 min. - 8 min.

Remove from packaging, allow to stand for 20 minutes.

Lightly season each side of the steak and rub with a little oil.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a high heat.

Fry over a high heat.

Rare 2 minutes each side, Medium 3 minutes each side, Well done 4 minutes each side.

Turn every 2 minutes, reduce heat if necessary.

Stand for 5 minutes before serving.

We bought x2 steaks both were very poor quality in terms of the amount of gristle and the amount of fat on each steak. They were the sort of cuts you’d find in the off cut bin at a butchers. Very disappointing.

sirloin steak with huge grisly bits in every bite! this is disgusting do not buy i feel iceland recently have let there standards slip on the meat side. the frozen fish is still good

Poor. Fatty and stringy. Not nice at all

Buy every week. Fry with garlic seasoning and always good.

Boot leather (no offence to boot leather intended). Tough, chewy and tasteless.

Really enjoyed these sirloins. No complaints at all.

I consider myself a good cook and prepare everything before cooking. I let the steak come up to room temperature, prepared a seasoning and applied it to the steak. Applied to the hot griddle and cooked steak rare. Let steak rest while serving mushrooms, peppers, eggs etc to open sandwich result Ugh steak inedible tough as old boots and poor quality meat.

Definitely not sirloin, very chewy

Lovely, tender & well priced will definitely buy again

Always purchase my steak from Iceland as good quality & good value
