How to cook

Pan Fry Chilled

Cook time: 4 min. - 8 min.

Remove from packaging, allow to stand for 20 minutes.

Lightly season each side of the steak and rub with a little oil.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a high heat.

Fry over a high heat.

Rare 2 minutes each side, Medium 3 minutes each side, Well done 4 minutes each side.

Turn every 2 minutes, reduce heat if necessary.

Stand for 5 minutes before serving.

No consistency whatsoever, sometimes 'alright' but more often than not, sinewy, gristly and chewy. No idea how a lot of it gets through quality control!!! May have better choice by actually visiting my local store but unfortunatley cannot do so at the moment and therefore with home shopping I have to take what I get...but won't order this again. Rump is by far the better option.

ideal price and tasty good quality

OK its not melt in your mouth but not rubbery and tough either, it is just so good tasty juicy and for the price its fabulous, is a regular buy for me .

Another non consistent product, on occasions it’s tender but most of the time only good for a curry

A bit chewy but on occasion it’s been tender Hit and miss

I’ve eaten shin of beef that’s more tender than this so called sirloin. Must be sirloin of old knackered milk cow !

Absolutely the worst steak I have ever had all grizzly and no taste very disappointed

I'm a fussy steak lover from Oz - and this is really a bargain. Sirloin steaks are excellent. I prefer to defrost mine then grill - have a couple of these weekly. Wonderful !!!

Just how a Beef Sirloin Steak should taste. Best to season it first, then cook in the oven on a tray for the best results.

Well you must have changed suppliers as this steak was tender and delicious unlike some of your other steak.
