How to cook

Pan Fry Chilled

Remove from packaging, allow to stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Lightly season each side of the steak.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a high heat.

Fry over a high heat for Rare 5-6 minutes, Medium 7-8 minutes, Well done 10 minutes.

Turn half way through cooking time.

Reduce heat if necessary.

Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

To be honest I wasn't sure. However, when I cooked it I was amazed. Absolutely lovely! The steak was big and tasty. Definitely will purchase again

I purchased two of these 12oz sirloin steaks today, cooked them for dinner tonight and thoroughly enjoyed them , even my son , who is very hard to please enjoyed his too . Will definitely buy these again.

A very large very tender restaurant style steak. Cook on a griddle pan or oven to keep it tender. The fat on the steak made it extra tasty but I didn't eat the fat once cooked as I'm on a diet.

So tasty and plenty of meat, it’s sirloin so had a nice piece of fat on it. Easy to cook took it out the packet and left to come to room temperature then just griddled each side to seal it then put it in the oven for 10 mins then left to rest 5 mins by that time the chips and onion rings where done , well worth the money

Very tasty tender steak!!

Huge thick succulent steak. Amazing value for a fiver

Excellent quality, with very little fat on it, recommended cooking times were spot on and could easily have been a steak from a premium restaurant.

You can buy 2 smaller steaks in other shops that cost a little more but are far superior in quality. For example, the fat on both the steaks I bought was very thick so once that was removed, and it really did need removing, it made them considerably smaller. The meat itself was okay, 7 minutes a side gave me a nice medium colour, but it was no better or worse that any other steak around the same price and the gimmick is obviously to have a giant steak. So, if size is important then this is a winner, I would suggest frying the fat side for an extra 3-5 minutes if you want to eat that as well although I am skeptical that it would make it any better.

I got one of these to share with my husband to see if they were any good, wow they were delicious, went back for two more we don’t want to share this time!
