How to cook
Pan Fry & Oven Chilled
Remove from packaging, allow to stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Lightly season each side of the steak.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a high heat.
Fry over a high heat for 6 minutes, turn half way through cooking time.
Transfer to a baking tray near the middle of the oven for Rare 7-10 minutes, Medium 15-18 minutes, Well-done 23-26 minutes.
Allow stand for 5 minutes before serving.

This is definitely the best way to buy your steak. If you are a family, it will feed up to 4 people. If you are a couple or a single like me, you can eat some & freeze some. If you cook it all, you can dice remainder as basis for a beef stew. A quick way to do this is to fry onions, add beef, chuck in a tin of carrots, and add dumplings.

Very tender, good flavour, grilled both sides on very hot grill for 3 minutes, and left to settle for 5 minutes. absolutely gorgeous, some people dont like fat and grissle, personally im not too fussed, i love the fat and i dont mind the grissle, id say there isnt too much for rump, but unless im there to choose the indidual steak (I chose online home delivery), I cant complain. Pour yourself your favourite red and enjoy!

Over half was inedible due to gristle and fat. However, the meat I did manage to retrieve had a nice taste but was in tiny pieces due to having to dissect.

I made a mistake and looked at them wrong when ordering though they were 12oz. I wanted a decent meal for an anniversary and well these did the trick. We ended up sharing a steak and using the second one as a mini roast. They are that BIG. And not to mention tender. 3 min sear on each side then 13 mins in 180c oven. rested 8 mins. I know some like to rest as long as the cook time but I was hungry. And they were delicious. Will get these every time.
