How to cook

Pan Fry & Oven Chilled

Fan 180°C Gas 6

Remove from packaging, allow to stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Lightly season each side of the steak.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a high heat.

Fry over a high heat for 6 minutes, turn half way through cooking time.

Transfer to a baking tray near the middle of the oven for Rare 7-10 minutes, Medium 15-18 minutes, Well-done 23-26 minutes.

Allow stand for 5 minutes before serving.

This steak is good. My partner only likes well done steak so I brown it on both sides, add some light beef stock and cook it on a very low heat turning every 10 minutes until soft snd tender.

If you like gristle you’ll love this

Worst steak ever, full of gristle and was packaged best side up so couldn’t see how bad it was till opened

Awful couldn’t chew it , grisly all though the middle , won’t buy again , very disappointed .

It's perfect, although it could pass as a joint of beef not a steak. It's huge! It tasted so nice rare, but I'm not sure how it would do with well done. I will definitely be having it again.

best piece of rump you can people should learn to cook sal pepper leave at room tempeture for 30 minute place in hot pan delicous

I don't know how I'm supposed to cook this. I was expecting it to be a slice, like normal steaks, so I can cook it in the pan. The picture advertising it is a slice, so how come I've been lumbered with what can only be desctibed as a lump that's 3 inches tall? Maybe I was wrong expecting a slice of steak, like the picture suggests. I like my steak cooked all the way through, what am I supposed to do with this? By the time it has been in the pan cooking the outside, it will be overdone by the time the middle of the steak is cooked. I won't be buying this again, worst steak I've ever seen.. Let alone tried to cook!!

Wow that was delicious, cooked medium and left to rest afterwards it was delicious a little bit of Gristle which is needed and the flavour amazing. Like butter to cut through and it was a big steak!! Ill be back recommended!! A++++

Thought I'd give a try despite some reviews and surprised how good it was. I fried to medium took a while but was lean and juicy will get again.

Really good value, buy these all the time, big enough to cut into two or 3 steaks and much tastier than other supermarket steaks
