My elderly father loves them they are easy for him to cook and he asks me to get him several every week fantastic value.

The cheapest and best quality micro roast beef there is. Also comes in one big container (not they awkward ones that are split into sections) which means there’s no need to plate it. Of course spending hours making a proper roast beef joint will be tastier but for a can’t be bothered making anything proper night this does the job lovely.

I can't understand the negative reviews at all. As I'm totally bedbound my son (who was looking after me this week) cooked this product in the microwave completely according to the instructions and it was so yummy. The gravy was just perfect as was the 4 nice slices of beef and all the vegetables - even the carrots. Sometimes you'll find that after cooking the yorkshire in any microwave it's harder than you'd like but mine was nice and soft. Sometimes with other brands my dog would end up with anything left on the plate but not this time cos I'd eaten AND enjoyed every last bit. I'm gonna carry on buying this product every time I do my online shopping (approx. fortnightly). Keep up good work Iceland's chefs!!!

The flavour is very plain (seems no salt) and carrots are raw so that have to throw them away.

Good portion, very tasty gravy, 4 slices of beef, perfect apart from the carrots need more cooking, can't understand the negative reviews, if you want Gordon R cuisine pay more!

Really not worth bothering with. Rubbery meat (what little there was of it) and next to raw carrots.

I chose to have this as someone else had recommended it. Sadly on this occasion I was very disappointed. After cooking for the recommended time, at the top of the oven, the carrots were not cooked and very chewy. I also had this problem with a chicken roast meal from Iceland. But even worse, I was unlucky enough to have a beef dinner that didn't actually have any slices of beef in it. I'm sure this doesn't happen very often in the processing, but I was unlucky, so can't comment on the quality of the meat at all! I would be very loathe to try this meal again, despite the price.

Gosh! Plenty of meat and the gravy is very good. I like to have a ready meal in stock for when I am too lazy to cook. I will definitely buy this again and am going to try the chicken and stuffing dinner. I think that I will be lazy more often

Had the roast beef and tasted just good as a well known brand but cheaper. Will try the roast Chicken one next time.

That's the last time I'll be killing myself cooking a roast dinner, I stuck two of these in the over so that they'd be ready at the same time and steamed some of the Iceland butternut squash mash and it was like I'd been slaving over the cooker all day! I would give it 5/5 but I did have a nicer (more expensive) refrigerated one from another store so I'm reserving the 5/5 for that. I'll definitely be buying again!

I tried one of these beef dinners for the first time and I have to say how surprised I was with this Beef dinner. It was really nice and filling have tried Asda's and Tesco's but they are very small portions and they have hardly any veg in them. But Iceland's dinner is full of veg and roast potatoes, I add extra roast potatoes and extra Yorkshire puddings to the dinner. Cheap Sunday Roast ideal for someone on their own. I will say that the cooking instructions are wrong if you put it as it says on the packet 50 mins and place in middle of oven, this does not cook the veg they come out hard and chewy. I find if you place it on the top shelf it cooks just fine. Don't worry it will not burn.

This beef dinner is very filling. I add extra veg and this makes a very cheap Sunday roast

I have my freezer stocked with a few of these for when I can't be bothered with all those pots and pans, but not only that I love the taste and the kids eat every bit. This would have got 5 stars but I prefer my own Yorkshire puddings :)
