Hardly any Beef in it, says on ingredients that there is 24% beef, that's a lie, more like 10% OR LESS. and most of it was inedible fat or gristle. Counted and had to spit out 20+ Curry leaves, Poor effort Iceland. AVOID

Madras is not too hot but it's very spicy.

Husband enjoys them , good value

Excellent

This used to be amazing but now you can barely eat it as you get mouthful of leaves, the meat quality has changed, so has the flavour, very disappointing. Change back to the old recipe.

The reason why you never get Beef in Curry is because the cow is sacred to Hindus so why go against the very fabric of the origins of the dish?

Add Iceland pilau rice and with this it makes a tasty midweek dinner for £2.50. Nice with Iceland mini naan with cheese melted in the middle and microwaved for 30 seconds just to complete a cheap dinner.

Was a staple but they changed the recipe and it's less flavoured more watery and less succulent meat. It's not terrible but it's disappointing compared to before. Iceland think you can change it back?

I know people have been put off by the curry leaves (you just pick them out) but the taste and heat for a frozen one meal curry it is the best. With a 2 minute microwave rice from a well known supermarket, it's unbeatable.

I'm not really into microwave meals, but was starving in Iceland one of the days and decided to give this a try to save me cooking when I got home. It was really tasty, the beef was so tender and the meal really flavoursome. There were a few bits of bay leaves in it but that means they're using the right spices and it's very authentic....so authentic I have ditched my local curry house and ordered a freezer full of this range :)

Was the best untill Iceland improved the recipie now only mediocre :(

Best curry on the market until you decided to improve it....change it back please looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Used to be very good but recently very watery and beef very stringy. Not buying it anymore.

Soft succulent and very tasty. Well cooked will continue to buy if Iceland don’t decide to stop them.

This used to be really nice, but have to agree with other reviewers, recipe has changed and beef doesn't taste nice as well as being tough. Love the sauce though and I suppose it's not bad for the price.

This was excellent value for money. Hot and tasty and just the right size portion.

Good spicy taste, the beef has always been tender even when heated in a microwave. Great meal for work.

Beef is horrible, very fatty and full of gristle.

Better than any other Indian frozen meal in other supermarkets! We get this quite alot.

The beef is tough and chewy the sauce is great. Won't buy again will get the chicken madras which is 10/10
