Madras is not too hot but it's very spicy.

Husband enjoys them , good value

Excellent

Bought this by mistake, but in for a penny - It was very good, don't know why people say the beef is chewy, mine was tender and yes there is some fat but it adds to the taste. Great meal and will have again.

Soft succulent and very tasty. Well cooked will continue to buy if Iceland don’t decide to stop them.

This curry used to be very nice but at some point they must have changed the recipe and I now find myself not liking this one anywhere near as much.

Hardly any Beef in it and what was there I found full of fat.

This was excellent value for money. Hot and tasty and just the right size portion.

I know people have been put off by the curry leaves (you just pick them out) but the taste and heat for a frozen one meal curry it is the best. With a 2 minute microwave rice from a well known supermarket, it's unbeatable.

I had read all the previous reviews about the beef being 'chewy' so wasn't really looking forward to this. However, the night I cooked it I was very busy, so I put it on a low setting in my oven and left it for a few hours. By the time I came to eat it the beef was falling apart and fat free. That said the flavour of the meat isn't the best (tasted like a beef/lamb cross, and had that cheap taste you often get in frozen curry) Sauce is nice, not spicy though - which a Madras should be - but enjoyable all the same. Good but not as good as the Bhuna (which is spicier and does taste like takeout).

Used to be very good but recently very watery and beef very stringy. Not buying it anymore.

Really sad. This dish used to be great. Clearly Iceland have changed their meat supplier! Change it back! It was a lot less chewy!

This used to be amazing but now you can barely eat it as you get mouthful of leaves, the meat quality has changed, so has the flavour, very disappointing. Change back to the old recipe.

Better than any other Indian frozen meal in other supermarkets! We get this quite alot.

We had the Beef Madras together with King Prawn Jalfrezi, Chicken Masala, rice and poppadoms. Had the best Indian take out we have ever had - and we have had quite a few! Quite a feast and plenty of it for £6.50! Amazing value. Thanks for putting the cooking instructions on the net - it saves struggling with that small print on the package!

This used to be really nice, but have to agree with other reviewers, recipe has changed and beef doesn't taste nice as well as being tough. Love the sauce though and I suppose it's not bad for the price.

Curry full of what I think were curry leaves would have been great without these horrid tasting items

Good spicy taste, the beef has always been tender even when heated in a microwave. Great meal for work.

Add Iceland pilau rice and with this it makes a tasty midweek dinner for £2.50. Nice with Iceland mini naan with cheese melted in the middle and microwaved for 30 seconds just to complete a cheap dinner.

Well flavoured and an excellent meal full of meat. Very tasty.
