I really fancied these and some of the reviews were really good. Well they were cooked as instructed. The only bit I could eat was the spears, and when i tried to eat the rest they were slimy and horrible and made me gag...and they were full of fluid too I got covered in stuff. Sadly a total waste of money. I really wanted to like them. I love asparagus.

Lovely asparagus, very convenient. Although I only microwave them for 3 minutes and they are ready, with some crunch, rather then follow the instructions on the pack as then they are overcooked.

Sloppy tasteless mush. Even tried cooking in a dry pan. Yuck!!

Very easy to get ready and lovely veg!

Cook for a little less time than advised and they come out a treat! Would recommend!

Mushy and tasted awful

As some reviewers have described these can be slightly soggy. The thing is, that despite me liking fresh asparagus cooked al dente, I don't really object to the texture of these - which is a bizarrely firm yet soggy texture. It is very much a 'marmite' product - for the price, convenience and quantity I am happy with the taste. For me - I shove it in the microwave for 4 minutes - give it a quick shake and then back in for another minute until the butter melts. I then add a few grinds of salt and tuck in.

Stringy, sloppy and just bleurgh! Maybe oven cooked would be better to crisp them up but I don't hold out hope.

Soggy, stringy and cold after I took out after the time it stated. Dashed in the bin, what a waste. Lazy me hey lol, I will keep cooking from fresh.

Soggy, slimy, stringy

I don't bother cooking these in the microwave, instead I wrap them in streaky Bacon & pop them in the oven till crisp & they are gorgeous.

Was keen to try these but not impressed. Soggy and stringy, avoid!

Seems the cooking time is a bit much as they came out quite stringy and limp. Also couldn't really taste the butter at all.

3 months ago I had never tried asparagus, shocking I know! Ever since trying these from Iceland I've been buying them every month and they go well with Fish.

A great item to have in freezer. Easy to cook and they taste lovely.

Had these last night, as a side with Iceland dover sole & Iceland oven chips. Cooked as per the instructions they turn out perfectly 'al dente'. All that's needed is a sprinkle of salt. Darn near restaurant quality meal for, probably, a third of the price!
