How to cook

Grill Frozen

Grill Cook time: 12 min. - 14 min.

Pre-heat the grill to a medium heat.

Remove from all packaging.

Place onto the wire rack of a grill pan.

Grill for 12-14 minutes, turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.

Oven Frozen

FAN 180ºC Cook time: 16 min. - 18 min.

Gas 6 Cook time: 16 min. - 18 min.

Pre-heat oven Fan 180ºC/Gas 6.

Remove required amount from packaging.

Place onto a baking tray with raised edges near the middle of the oven for 16-18 minutes.

Turn halfway through cooking.

Shallow Fry Frozen

Shallow Fry Cook time: 10 min. - 12 min.

Pre-heat a little oil in a frying pan.

Remove required amount from packaging.

Fry over a medium heat for 10-12 minutes.

Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.

My son loves these burgers. He is hard to please usually, as he doesn't like onions and these are what they say on the box, just salt and pepper added. Ideal well done Iceland. Only criticism is they do shrink a lot more than usual burgers.

Nice but they do shrink a little when cooked.

Pure beef with no fillers or additives. Beautiful and now the only ones we buy for the family.

Really enjoyable as no added extras! I know that's what is said on the description but the taste says it all.

Shrunk to approx 2' diameter, so had a few mouth fulls of bread before actually getting to the burger.

Nice taste. But when cooked, they shrink 50%. Hence the Three Stars

Not good, poor quality, wrong texture, come on Iceland you can do better than this! Shame, wont buy again.

The taste is ok, but the amount of fat is obscene! They shrink to nothing when cooked.

I grilled these exactly as per the box instructions (I may be compulsive with a timer!). They were awful. Dry, and rubbery. The colour was also speckled. Not an appetising presentation.

I'm not hard to please but these were worst burgers I've ever bought, never again.

What people have said about them not shrinking well they DO shrink and are very small after cooking. With that said they`re still very tasty.

These are the best burgers I have tried so far. They did not shrink at all during cooking. Brilliant.

What a lovely rich flavour, and just the right size for a burger bun.

I shallow fried these for about fifteen min turning frequently. Taste like sausage.

Contrary to the people below complaining about shrinkage, sorry, these are sold as burgers not quarter pounders and real beef joints start off huge and shrivel away to nothing after they are cooked. These taste delicious and are what I would say a perfect size for fitting in the Iceland burger buns once cooked. They are 98% beef and are not flavoured strongly of onion like cheap burgers are. I am watching my diet and I cook them in the oven on top of baking paper (greaseproof) and the fat comes out them and I blot the grease up with kitchen paper and turn them once during cooking. So the result is a perfect burger with no fat spurting out and a nice dry texture that is very tasty and simple. And low in calories, you can eat one and not have a guilt trip. I recommend them.

They have a nice flavour to them and you know you're getting beef and not rusk, but these little things do shrink quite a lot and don't retain the size shown on the box. My advice is don't grill or fry them, put them in a frying pan with about 3 tbsp water. The water will encourage the fat to seep out so the burgers cook in their own fat, and do it on medium so that they don't overcook and shrink so badly, and the water will either evaporate or be absorbed into the burgers so you have juicy, low-fat burgers.

Slow cooking in a grill with a burger press and they stil shrunk to the size of small chicken nuggets. Don't waste your £2 buy some iceland fresh mince and make your own!
