How to cook
Defrost
Remove required amount from all packaging, place on a plate, cover.
Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours.
Once defrosted, use immediately.
Pan Fry Defrost
After defrosting, rinse the fish under a cold tap and pat dry.
Pre-heat a little oil in a frying pan.
Place skin side down and gently fry over a medium heat for 4 minutes.
Turn over and fry for a further 1 minute.
Reduce heat if necessary.
Oven Frozen
Remove required amount from packaging.
Wrap loosely in foil, skin side down (optional: brush with a little oil).
Place on a baking tray near the middle of the oven for 16-18 minutes.

Cooked in the oven from frozen with olive oil & garlic. Beautiful, but maybe one isn't enough if you have a big appetite.

I purchased rainbow trout quite a few months ago and it was very nice. This then went out of stock for several months but then saw it in store at Iceland in Rugeley on 7th May 2021 and purchased 3 packs for £10. But it was very bland and not much taste to it. Used all of the first pack. Did eat it but was quite dissapointed. Dont know if the trout I ate a few months ago came from a different source. Will probably throw the remaining 2 packs away. Sorry to be negative but have never had any problems with any of your other fish

I have followed instructions for defrost and cooking and the fish tasted musty and mouldy. I have checked dates on packaging and all is ok there.
