How to cook

Oven Frozen

FAN 180ºC Cook time: 35 min.

Gas 6 Cook time: 35 min.

For conventional electric ovens adjust time and temperature to suit.

Pre-heat oven.

Remove fillet(s) from all packaging.

Wrap fillet(s) loosely in foil.

Place on a baking tray near the middle of the oven for time stated.


Poach Frozen

Simmer Cook time: 12 min. - 15 min.

Remove fillet(s) from all packaging.

Place into a pan.

Add water or milk to just cover fillet(s).

Simmer gently (do not boil).

Do not let the pan boil dry.


Microwave Frozen

Cat E 800w Cook time: 5 min.

Based on 1 Fillet

Remove fillet from all packaging.

Place onto a microwaveable plate.

Cover with film and pierce several times .

Cook for time stated.

Stand for 1 minute.


Grill Frozen

Medium Heat Cook time: 18 min. - 20 min.

Remove fillet(s) from all packaging.

Place on the base of the grill pan.

Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.

Cooked these in microwave and served with mash, peas and parsley sauce. Delicious

Love these Haddock fillets, no bones or skin. It does say to cook from frozen for best results but I always defrost first, then make a beer batter and deep fry, delicious! never been disappointed much better than fresh as you don't know how long it's been hanging about in the fishmongers.

There are a lot of grey inferior pieces lately, these used to be good

Delighted to see that Iceland have listened to their customer reviews & reverted back to their own brand, from arctic royal. Delicious, firm, well trimmed portions of haddock. Better than fresh! Welcome back!
