Awful - don't waste your time & money! They should call it rubbish and rotten!!!!!!! We brought x2 packs and all four were rotten to the core inside ...just called Iceland to get a refund and let them know ....wonder if Iceland actually take note of these reviews because clearly there's an issue with this product.

One pack was ripe and ready to eat straight away, the second wasn’t which was fine, so I put it in the fridge to preserve it for longer until the night before I was craving Avovado and it was ripe and tasty as ever. Thank you

We had 2 SUPERB avocados delivered on Tuesday 23/2. They were just right in terms of ripeness and taste/texture was excellent. I wish I’d ordered more! Avocados generally can be very hit and miss so I wasn’t necessarily expecting such a treat. I shall order some next week and hope they’re from the same grower!

They are better than any I get from anywhere else, never get one thats going brown when I cut it open, can't saythat about those I've bought at other supermarkets, they ate often already going brown.

They really should adopted the name I've given these. RIpe & Rotten. I've purchased these four time in the last two years, I haven't been able to eat any of them as they've been rotten each and every time.

I agree with the suggestions of keeping them in the fridge because that does slow down the ripening process. No one has suggested how to tell how ripe is the avocado. It ripens from the top so if you gently press your thumb at the top and it's still hard then it needs a little more time. It should just have a little give and that is an indication that its just right. If it feels really soft then remove the top and you might be able to save part of the bottom and you could always try and grow your own from the stone, but don't expect a harvest. Prawn and avocado mixed is a lovely combination -Hank

Oh dear! Maybe it was just me but my Avocados weren't good. The Two of them will not be eaten as One was Moldy and the other Ones was still very hard but rotten. I was looking forward to making Guacamole 😕 Now I know what not to buy from here 🙂

a bit hit or miss. Sometimes both are fine; other times one or both are inedible.
