How to cook

Oven Frozen

Fan Oven 200ºC Cook time: 16 min.

Gas 7 Cook time: 16 min.

For conventional electric ovens adjust time and temperature to suit.

Pre-heat oven.

Remove outer packaging.

Place on a pre-heated baking tray near middle of the oven.

Turn halfway through cooking time.


Grill Frozen

Low/Medium Heat Cook time: 14 min.

Pre-heat the grill to a low / medium heat.

Remove from all packaging and place onto the rack of a grill pan.

Turn halfway through cooking.

Reduce heat if necessary.

These are fishcakes for people who do not like fish. They taste more like potato croquettes.

I tend to slow-fry them in a splash of decent oil, then sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder. Serve with -ideally Iceland petits pois- or Iceland garden peas. Why put the oven on ?

As someone else mentioned, they are small, but they taste lovely and are great for a snack or lunch, and for the price you can't go wrong.

I was hoping for a lot out of these fish cakes, but upon opening, I thought how small they actually are. If you are expecting large cakes then you will be disappointed. The taste is quite nice though for what they are.

These fish cakes are what I go to Iceland for.

I wasn't at all sure if these would be any good after some rubbish I bought from T's'o. They *are* good and represent top value with a nice flavour. I fry them very slowly in oil (olive) and sprinkle with dried garlic and onion. Obviously chips would be good with them but onioned mash is nice too -even though they contain mash already. Peas +butter is a splendid accompanyment.
