Serves 2 as a main - fantastic with pasta

This is a show-stopping dish, it's a feast for your eyes as well as your tastebuds. Inky black mussels cooked in a tomato and white wine sauce, delicately flavoured with parsley and warmed through with a hint of chilli. Perfect served with Spaghetti or Linguine pasta, which will take on the delicious flavours of the sauce too

How to cook

Pan Fry Frozen

Fill a large saucepan with 3 litres of water, add in ½ tablespoon of salt and place over a high heat.

Bring the water to the boil. Cook 250g of any long shape pasta in the boiling water until al dente. To get the perfect al dente bite, cook the pasta 1 minute less than instructed on the packet.

Remove from outer carton, using the peel tab remove the film and tray from my sauce and place into a large frying pan over a medium heat. Cover with a lid and cook for 7 minutes. Shake the pan occasionally.

Drain the pasta and transfer into the frying pan with the sauce, over a medium heat.

Stir the pasta and the sauce together for 30 seconds, allowing each strand of pasta to absorb the delicious flavours. Discard any mussels that do not open during cooking and serve immediately.

Very tasty & super convenient stirred into some spaghetti or on its own with some fresh, crusty bread to dip into the wine & tomato sauce. Very impressed with the amount of mussels you get.
