Gino D'Acampo Pizza Amalfi

Inspired by the ingredients from Amalfi coast, buffalo mozzarella, semi-dried cherry tomatoes and our Neapolitan star vegetable Friarielli

Inspired by the ingredients from the Amalfi coast, where I grew up. The star of this pizza is Friarielli, the Neapolitan cousin of broccoli, an ingredient that grows at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Hand topped with sweet roasted yellow peppers and semi-dried cherry tomatoes, this is my ultimate vegetarian pizza!

I grew up in Naples, the birthplace of the iconic pizza. As a young boy I learned the art of making pizza from my grandmother, Nonna Flora. 30 years on, using the same methods and ingredients, I am proud to have created a range of pizzas, all made in Italy for you to enjoy at home just like my family do......Buon Appetito

How to cook

Oven Frozen

Fan 200°C Gas 6

Pre-heat for 10 minutes.

Remove my pizza from all packaging and place directly onto the middle shelf of the oven for 15 MINUTES.

While you are cooking my pizza please do not open the oven door otherwise you will lose heat.

Set your oven to fan at 200°C / Gas Mark 6 and pre-heat for 10 minutes. Remove my pizza from all packaging and place directly onto the middle shelf of the oven for 15 Minutes. While you are cooking my pizza please do not open the oven door otherwise you will lose heat. The above instructions are guidelines only. Ensure the product is thoroughly cooked before serving. Do Not re-freeze after defrosting and never eat my pizza piping hot, let it rest for 1 minute out of the oven so you will appreciate the flavours of each ingredient.

Bland

Delicious pizza. Lovely crispy base, delicious toppings and a breath of fresh air not to have a pizza drowned out with tomato puree or similar.

Absolutely disgusting! I was really excited to try this new range as am a big fan of Iceland food but this pizza was the worst I’ve ever tried. There was nearly no taste, the cheese was watery with no flavour, the spinach was bitter and next to no vegetables. I think I will stick Iceland’s own brand of pizzas in the future.

The best frozen pizza ever!!

I'm food fussy. My husband's italian. This is a delicious pizza that I'm buying every week. The base is a delight. I'm a white pizza lover now. Hey. Truly excellent.

Absolutely amazing pizza! Best pizza i had in a while. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, fluffy tasty dough. All about attention to detail i guess. Thank you delivery guy for bringing it, thank you supermarket for selling it! Not sure what else to say. You have to try it.

Not my favourite in the range, like the others has loads of topping, mozzarella melts lovely, base lovely and crispy, but I prefer a tomato base, and wasn’t keen on the friariella seemed to have a bitter taste. Did eat it, but I’ll stick to the other pizzas in the range

Did not like this pizza. Went in the bin. Green leaves were bitter and the cheese was weird tasting. Wouldn't buy this again.

What a lovely tasting pizza you can tell the difference in taste with this fresh buffalo mozzarella on this pizza instead of the cheap mozzarella you get on other pizzas.
