Best veggie dogs i've had. Great in a good quality bun on a bed of fried onions and mushrooms[with added chilli and garlic] - with ketchup and mustard; lovely.

Tastes just like a hotdog! We have up meat over lockdowns and miss things like sausages, burgers, hotdogs, processed meat products, and finding the veggie hotdog that tastes right and is available and affordable was amazing! well done Iceland and Frys! We now buy these every week. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love these! I don't normally like products that pretend to be like meat and prefer whole foods but hot dogs don't have much actual meat normally anyway I guess and these are good every now and then. I cook these in the air fryer (never tried any other way) and they are perfect like that. Bit confused by bad reviews, can only assume they are meat eating trolls as apparently that's a past time. Odd. Anyway as a treat thoroughly recommend. Sometimes I add one to a meal as an extra too as its easy to chuck in the air fryer.

I bought these to try as I stopped buying normal hotdogs because of what goes into them. I tried boiling them first but they were disgusting, no taste and the texture was awful. I also tried frying them to give them a second chance but got the same result. I threw the rest in the bin.

I'm a bit surprised at the bad reviews for these. I admit I haven't tried them cooked properly as I do them in the air fryer which gives a more sausage texture. They are far from bland and I find them nicely spiced and delicious. now I've seen they're supposed to be boiled I'll try them that way too

I agree with the reviews saying these are bland. They have a slight smoky scent while they are being cooked. The texture is not too bad because some vegetarian and vegan hotdogs can be quite rubbery or slimy. Sadly without a good flavour having a nice texture is not enough. I do not recommend them.

I have been vegan for twenty years and have tried just about every vegan hot dog available, even trying to make my own! So I can say with authority that Fry's hot dogs are up there with the best on the planet. Okay, they're not perfect - they could do with a stronger smoked flavour. But then I could say tyhat about ALL the so-called smoked hot dogs. But the texture is good, so long as you don't overcook them. These are not designed to be air-fried or fed to your dog! I suggest that those reviewers try following the cooking instructions more carefully. And as for tasting like paper - I suggest that you eat less paper and more vegetables! They're also priced very competitively.

This is a wonderful product. We boil them before putting into crispy, freshly-baked mini-baguettes and consume with some mustard or/and ketchup and crispy onions and sometimes with lightly fried sauerkraut or some fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers etc) - basically the way most folks make their favorite hot-dogs :) While we haven't tried frying these (which seems to be the put-off factor for some other reviewers), I can guarantee you won't be disappointed if you boil these hot-dogs as per instructions on the packing. We LOVE them!

It tastes like paper. No taste whatsoever. I ve fried them, as every sausage in air fryier, looked nice and crispy from outside. But when I cut into it... Nope. I had better from different brands. Won't be buying them for sure.

Disgusting, even my dog wouldn’t eat them.
