How to cook

Boil From Frozen

Bring a pan of water to the boil. Add 6-8 frozen Gyoza. Allow to gently simmer for 7-8 minutes. Remove and serve immedietly with gyoza dipping sauce.


Cooking Instructions General

To Serve: For best results cook from frozen. Do not refreeze after defrosting. Remove all packaging before cooking. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Check food is cooked thoroughly and piping hot. Do not overcook this product.


Shallow Fry From Frozen

Heat 2 tsp oil (about 10 ml) in a pan. Add 6-8 frozen Gyoza (flat side down), allow plenty of space between each piece. Fry over a medium heat without stirring for 2-3 mins or until the base is a light golden brown. Add 1/3 cup (about 75ml) of cold water, cover the pan immedietly and cook for a further 4-5 mins, until most of the water is evaporated. Remove and serve immedietly with gyoza dipping sauce.


Steam From Frozen

Bring a pan of water to boil. Place Gyoza in a lightly oiled bambo steamer or similar, and cover. Reduce heat and gently steam for 7 - 8 mins. Remove and serve immediately with gyoza dipping sauce.

I fry then boil the the gyoza these are so tasty I love them. Definitely getting some more as for the sauce I use my own dark soy sauce.

I pan fried in a little oil then steamed the gyoza as instructed in water, make sure you use a non stick pan otherwise the pastry sticks. The filling has a crisp crunch from the water chestnuts and the meat too minced to resemble chicken, overall, they tasted good... The dipping sauce wasn't nice. I made my own sauce for dipping. I would buy these again.
