How to cook

Oven cook From Frozen

Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat and poultry. Do not wash poultry.

Note the weight from the front of the bag to calculate the exact cooking time.

1 Remove all packaging and place turkey in a roasting tin.

2 Cover loosely with lightly greased foil.

3 Cook in the centre of a preheated oven for the time calculated. Remove foil for the final 25 minutes of cooking.

4 Remove from the oven, cover with foil and rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Preheat oven to: 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6

Approximate cook time: 20 minutes per 454g (1lb), further cook without foil 25 minutes

Check that the turkey crown is cooked by piercing the thickest part of the crown with a skewer. When the turkey is cooked, the juices should run clear. Please note all appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Do not reheat.
