Thicker than kebab shop but very nice.... altho i think it has been changed as isnt as nuce as used to be! Oh..... and don't microwave it's horrible needs to be done in oven

Bargain,Do Not Microwave!!!

Have this meat every week and never have a complaint. Lightly fry until turns brown drain and eat . Also defrost and eat in a salad without cooking never been ill / Just my choices always reaches the spot.

Bought these a few times, and felt compelled to leave a review after seeing some of the ratings. If you're expecting a £2 frozen product to be identical to what you'd get at a kebab shop? You have insanely lofty expectations. I also find it amazing that some people seem to think they're going to get kebab shop results from cooking the product in a microwave!? Let's be real, it's good for what it is. Cook on a baking tray in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes, microwave a couple of tortillas to heat them up, get some salad or iceberg lettuce, top with some Crucials Garlic and chilli sauce, wrap and eat. Is it the same quality you could expect from a kebab house that would charge you £10 for a single kebab? No, of course not. Is it a nice treat, that will scratch that itch that you can prepare in 15 minutes for a fraction of the cost? Absolutely.

They must of changed the recipe as it is just like paste when done in microwave which I have done in the past I have its now YUK YUK YUK

I’m one of those people that like a greasy doner when I’m completely sober so this has been a staple in my freezer for a few years when I want a naughty doner and don’t want to pay £12 at my local takeaway. It’s the best I’ve found to the true thing - just don’t microwave! I bake in the oven (do put foil over the baking tray as there is quite a lot of oil that comes out), large pitta in the toaster, a pot of whatever sauce or Greek that dip floats your boat and whatever sides you fancy from Iceland (fries? Mozzarella sticks? Calamari rings?) and/or if you are feeling saintly, a side salad with olives and goats cheese or grilled halloumi. It’s not a drunk person food, leave that to Rustlers! 🤣 This bag will last at least three Friday nights of naughty home takeaways and it’s only £2!

OK, its not quite the same as doner kebab meat you get from the chippy, but its quick and easy to make, and is quite tasty really

I brought this product just to try , I cooked it in the microwave then finished under the grill put the meat and salad in a tortilla wrap I found it delicious with a little mayonnaise. A great cheat price . But come on it’s never going to be kebab from your local kebab shop .

THIS IS NOT KEBAB MEAT. NOR DOES IT TASTE LIKE KEBAB.

This tastes great as a stir fry with peppers onions and spices and coriander.
