How to cook

Cooking Instructions General

This product is ready cooked but you will need to heat from frozen. Times may vary according to appliances used.


Microwave From Frozen

Remove a portion (1/4 of pack) from the bag. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 2-3 minutes. (Based on a 800 watt microwave.)


Oven cook From Frozen

Pre-heat oven to 200°C/400°F. Remove a portion (1/4 of pack from the bag and place on a baking tray. Heat for approx. 10 minutes until piping hot.


Shallow Fry From Frozen

Remove a portion (1/4 of pack) from the bag. Place in a hot frying pan and heat, keep turning the meat until it is piping hot.

Tasty thick slices , cook in micro for cpl mins, great snack on pita bread

I think that the cook instruction on the back of the bag is not good at all ! Never use the oven to heat this if you want juicy kebab meat. The oven will make this meat really dry. I really recommend cooking this in a Microwave oven, just 2 and a half mins. after that, chop the cooked kebab meat together with a half bag of crunchy salad, add several tomato slices, really really good! Wrap these with a tortilla, or just top these on a portion of rice. So nice! Trust me!

Love it, great in a pitta with tomatoes cucumber (de-seeded) slices of red onion, with Yoghurt & Mint Sauce, Garlic Sauce and Sriracha Hot Chilli sauce! Also great, cooked and added to cooked chunks of red peppers or a jar of Roasted red peppers, cooked in a jar of Passata (or chopped tin toms), some crushed Garlic, sliced Chilie's, a teaspoon dried oregano, dried or fresh basil and poured over a hot flatbread or a hot pitta!

Excellent product their is more lamb in my jumoer but it does the trick. Tasty for a quick snack or meal. I microwave sometimes with frozen peppers, sweetcorn in a container, pop in a pita with tomatoe & cucumber homemade kebab sauce.

Nice kebab meat. Kids like it too.

Loved the Stuff!! Followed advice from a previous comment about turning the meat over once every 30 Seconds when cooking, worked a treat. Just ordered another 2 Bags :-).

Was a great product now pastey texture to it won't be using again unless it returns to how it was

I can’t rate these high enough…. Lots of poor reviews but the secret is, is to keep turning the kebab slices over and over during the cooking process,( I turn them over every 30 seconds) this way the kebab doesn’t dry out and stays nice and moist a bit of a pain but very much worthwhile ….. do the same with smaller amounts (obviously less cooking time)
