Cooking Instructions General

How to cook... now over to you. Cook from frozen for best results microwave. Please ensure that the product is piping hot before serving. Serve immediately. Warning: Salted Caramel sauce will be very hot once product is cooked. For fan assisted and miniature ovens, refer to manufacturer's handbook for guidelines.


Microwave From Frozen

Remove pudding from outer box. Place the pudding still in its container on a suitable plate. Place in a microwave and heat on full power (100%). Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Spoon into portions or turn out onto a plate and serve. For ovens marked with a heating category or oven wattage, select appropriate time from the table below. 750W Cat D 2 1/2-3 minutes, Stand 2 minutes 850W Cat E 2-2 1/2 minutes, Stand 2 minutes As microwave ovens vary, these instructions are a guide only. When using ovens of different powers, heating time should be adjusted accordingly.


Oven cook From Frozen

Pre-heat oven. Remove pudding from outer box, keeping it in its container. Cover with foil and place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven. Cook for 40 minutes. Spoon into portions or turn out onto a plate and serve. 180°C/350°F Gas 4 40 minutes

This is the worst desert I've ever tasted, it is terrible

Unlike Aunt Bessie's to be so dull and tasteless. It was hard and horrible and bone dry.

Absolutely tasteless.

The cooking instructions are completely off, I have a 700w Microwave & only put it in for 4 mins, the smell of it cooking was amazing (Hot Chocolate) however after dishing up found it incredibly dry & hard in places, it's supposed to be a chocolate suet sponge & although it did smell of Chocolate, it certainly didn't taste of it, the minuscule layer of salted caramel tasted nice & probably the sponge would have if its wasn't so dry.

I did not like this at all (very unusual for an Aunt Bessie product). Very little sauce or taste. I don't know if it was my cooking but seemed very hard.
