The butter is nice but the size has gone from 250g to 200g hence the bad review

This is my favourite butter great as in toast great in a sandwich even better to spread easy in the summer too lovely yellow fresh colour too

We all love Anchor butter in our very extended family, both block and spreadable, but did Arla really think that we wouldn’t tweak to the 20% weight reduction… hence the appropriately marked down 20%, one star, reduction, when otherwise we would have previously given the full FIVE stars. According to thegrocer.co.uk (27/04/2023) “ Arla has reduced the pack sizes of its Anchor and Lurpak block butter lines from 250g to 200g, but not all retailers seem to be cutting prices accordingly. The dairy co-op began to phase out 250g blocks of its two flagship brands on 17 April, citing the cost of living crisis. The weight reduction would keep the price of the butters “accessible for shoppers” amid the pressures of inflation, suggested Arla VP for marketing Danny Micklethwaite. But pre-promotion prices are tracking at the same level as the previous, larger packs in at least one retailer.” Not on Arla (! :-( …) but thank you, Iceland, for trying, across the wide range of products that you make available to us, your loyal customers, to give us a fair price, and best deals that you can in order to help us at this difficult economic time, and walking that delicate tightrope without going bust yourselves, which would, of course, be no help to us, your customers, at all, would it, if Iceland were to go out of business…?

Lovely taste won't use anything else

Excellent product, sadly overpriced.

It is the butter brand I like. It smells nice. It is very smooth and healthy
