Gino D'Acampo Mia's Meatballs

Succulent beef meatballs with Grana Padano cheese in classic tomato sauce

Serves 2 as a starter / Serves 1 as a main

This is a family favourite in the D'Acampo household. My daughter Mia loves them so much that now she prefers meatballs to chocolate, yes that's my girl!!! Delicious served with plain boiled rice or simply use warm crusty bread to dunky dunky the sauce

When I'm at home, you will often find me in the kitchen creating my favourite Italian meals, many of which are featured in my cookbooks and television shows. But here's my secret... I often freeze them, so my family can enjoy real Italian food whenever they want to. Using the same recipes, ingredients and methods, I am pleased to have created a range of classic meals all made in Italy, for you to enjoy at home just like my family do......Buon Appetito

My promise... all my frozen meals are made using natural ingredients and are free from artificial colours and flavourings. Real Italian food you can trust.

One of the best ready meals, frozen or otherwise. Better than the Charlie Bigham's Meatballs Al Forno, these were a big surprise (even after hearing about how good they are). We will get these every time we shop at Iceland. Both Iceland and Gino should be proud of this range of products, they are really high quality and incredibly tasty, especially for frozen food.

Just absouloutely rubbish , , nothing good about it , plain sauce cheap mince , would never buy again

Tried them tonight, we had a packet each and served with some pasta and salad. There are 5 quite small meatballs in a sauce. We thought they were lovely, and tasty in a smallish amount of sauce which was very nice too. Put a little of the shaker cheese on top. For the price we would definitely have them again. Excellent.

These were surprisingly delicious not usually a fan of frozen ready meals but these were yum

The sauce has changed it used to be amazing but now it is just plain boring tomato soup with a slither of grated cheese.

These were very nice, we had them with spaghetti 🍝 my only complaint, not enough ...

I'm not a great lover of frozen meals sometimes find just don't the right taste but OMG so tasty sauce meatballs perfect size eat by them self's or try a little pasta also garlic bread perfect Gino

Really really tasty but I bought two packs for myself and my son, made with spaghetti by the time I'd plated up a decent portion for him I was left with two balls and a bit of sauce. The portions are just way too small, and although there is enough sauce for the balls themselves, if you have with pasta or rice there's simply not enough sauce to go round. I'll give them 4 as they are nice but I won't be buying them again

very good meatballs for everithing

These meatballs were just awful, full of nasty bits and tough to bite and digest. Followed the instructions and the tray didn't work properly as never got piping hot in the oven, maybe they work better in the microwave. The only good side was the sauce and the pieces of cheese that were inside, good with pasta, but the meat was awful. Really really heavy to digest. Being italian we tried many things from this range by Gino d'Acampo and this is by far the worst thing we tried. If you want to try real italian food, try his pizzas or flatbreads, but I think his nonna would've been ashamed of this meatballs.
