Why not try these Criss Cross nachos in your air fryer, topped with spicy Jalapenos and delicious melted cheese.For a more filling take on nachos, these loaded Criss Cross Fries are perfect for the whole family. We've made two servings here, but the bigger your air fryer, the more people you can serve!

What you’ll need


  • 700g Criss Cross Fries
  • 350g Minced Beef and Onions
  • 1 Packet of Chilli Con Carne Mix
  • 100g Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Salad Tomato
  • 1 tbsp Old El Paso Jalapenos

  • Frying Pan
  • Air Fryer
  • Greaseproof Paper


  1. Heat up a tablespoon of oil into a frying pan and add the beef and onion mix. Fry until browned all over and the liquid has all evaporated.
  2. While the beef cooks, line the air fryer with a large sheet of baking paper and pop the criss cross fries in the air fryer at 200 for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Add your seasoning to the beef and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Slice the tomatoes into small chunks.
  5. Once the fries are cooked, place them into individual small oven dishes. Top with the beef, ¼ of the cheese, tomato and the jalapenos.
  6. Return to the air fryer for 3-5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove the paper from the air fryer and dig in!
