Method

  1. Grab your board, or if you're filling it like us, you might need a few! 😉
  2. Time to get spooky...let's make our corn dog mummies. Start by rolling out the pastry blocks and cutting them into fine strips. Then, grab your corn dogs and wrap the pastry around, leaving room for eyes at the top. Cook for the time specified and add your eyes for a frightful finishing touch. 🧟
  3. Here comes Frankenstein...as a mini roll 👀 For a Spooktacular twist on a classic, take your mini rolls, stick some matchmakers in either side for arms. Add your edible eyes, and if you're feeling like a star baker, whip up some black butter cream to create the scar effect on his head.
  4. For this one you'll need your drawing skills and a black food colouring pen...Take your marshmallows, oranges and macarons and draw the scariest, most spooktacular faces you can think off. The person who draws the scariest face gets first dips at the platter!
  5. Building the board...Start by scattering your picky bits, so that's your sausage rolls, spring rolls, chicken goujons, etc. Then fill in the gaps with all of the creepy confections we just made above. Feel free to dress the board up with as many skeletons & pumpkins as you'd like, it's spooky season after all!
  6. Finally, serve and be everyone's favourite party guest with a board that goes down in Halloween history!
